Coyote Cane

In Coyote Cane, the implement suggests an action and dependency. A crutch or a cane is a tool used to promote healing, or improve upon the body’s functioning. By incorporating sculpted animal parts and the natural curves of branches, I’m drawing the connection to the dependency that we have on other species, the way that we lean on them for our benefit.
