Online Workshop June 3, 10. 1-3pm EST

This workshop will follow the artistic process for creating a large-scale sculpture using digital technology. The course will begin with 3D computer modeling and progress through 3D printing prototypes, CNC milling large parts, and finishing the work by hand. All processes will be introduced at a beginner-friendly level, with emphasis on how to access these technologies affordably as an independent artist.

An Evolution of Flora, my first digitally fabricated sculpture will be featured in Transformations at the Turchin Center for Visual Arts in Boone, NC.

The Crucibles series, including new pieces, will be featured in Between States of Being at Tiger Strikes Asteroid in Greenville, SC.

I am grateful to be included in Session 50 of the Lighthouse Works residency on Fishers Island, NY. The residency will run for 6 weeks in the summer of 2022.

Two works The River That Isn’t and Three Bricks will be featured in The Faculty Biennial at The Turchin Center for Visual Arts for the Summer and Fall of 2022.

The Black Forest is a series of large wood carvings that will be featured at the Wassaic Project for the show A Tournament of Lies in the Summer of 2022.
